Feature 1: Direct Messaging for Music Sharing



Problem Identified: Users frequently share music on social media or external messaging apps but want a seamless way to do so within Spotify.

Solution: Introduce an in-app messaging system that allows users to send songs, albums, and playlists directly to friends and discuss them.
Feature 2: Personalized Music Collections

Problem Identified: Users want to showcase their favorite music in a more personalized way beyond generic playlists.

Solution: Introduce a “Pinned Music” feature where users can highlight their Album of the Month and Top 5 Songs or Albums.
Feature 3: Top Picks & Music Ratings for Increased Interaction

Problem Identified: Users want a way to engage with friends' music tastes in a more structured and interactive way.

Solution: Expand user profiles to include a Top Picks section, where users can view friends’ top-rated singles and albums, along with ratings they have given to songs sent to them via direct messaging.

Key Learnings 1. Users want social features, but they should be optional and non-intrusive.
